I’m always impressed by the amount of courage and faith it takes for someone to walk through the doors of a new church for the first time.  I can only imagine the question that go through their minds as they take those first tentative steps into a place that is unfamiliar to them only to be greeted by people who are strangers to them and invited to participate in a worship service that is new to them.  I suspect that so many people across the nation do so each week because they are looking for a place to belong, a people to call family and an experience that helps to give meaning and purpose to their lives.  Maybe those are some of the reasons why you are thinking about walking through our doors for the first time or have done so recently.

This website is designed to help you navigate your way around our church from a safe distance, but I want you to know that we are more than willing to help you with this in a more personal way when you feel comfortable enough in our midst to seek that assistance.

Here at MCC, we pride ourselves in being able to provide our members and friends with some of the ambitious programs found in a larger church, yet still manage to keep the character and charm of a more intimate church family intact.  Our teen and Sunday School programs are some of the best in the region, our Mission programs vital and active, our Music Programs expanding and our Care Ministry a much needed blessing to many.  You’ll find our worship inspiring yet casual, reverent yet playful, uplifting and yet grounded.

It’s never easy taking a first step into a new place. I pray God has led you to us so that we might be a blessing to you, and in turn, you might be a blessing to others.

No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here!

In the Spirit,

Rev. Bob Faulhaber Jr.
